Look at the prize support for this tournament! Two Boxes of Boosters! If we get enough people, you are all paying about a dollar over the price of the packs for two booster boxes worth of prize support! I try not to curse in this newsletter, but DAAAAAYUUMMMMN.

There is no way you can lose at this tournament! In fact, the worst you can do is save money on three boosters that, let's be honest, you probably would have bought anyway! Not to mention that if we see people for this tournament, we're more likely to offer other, equally crazy tournaments in the future!
Yes, there's only one more delay before we get back to our regular schedule, and it's this week. The comics will be coming in on Thursday, but this should be the last week of that nonsense. Unless the MLK holiday will cause a delay. So, um, don't really take this for gospel. Don't fret, though, if you're planning on coming in on Wednesday but are disappointed there are no new comics! We'll be having specials on Wednesday to try to make up for this staggering disappointment. Hopefully, that will assuage your rage and alienation for a few more hours.

Classic Marvel Figurine Magazine #1
$12.00
This is the first of a whole bunch of magazines that I don't quite understand a whole lot about. I do understand that they come with some pretty cool collectible figurines, though. This one has Spider-Man, and we'll also be getting in the Wolverine figure. I hate to copy and paste blurbs like four times during these spotlights, but I guess it has to be done, since I basically have no understanding of this product.
Meet the greatest Marvel heroes and villains of all time with your friendly neighborhood Classic Marvel Figurine Collection! Fully authorized figurines with an amazing magazine make this series in a super-league of its own. The hand-painted lead figurines are sculpted by master craftsmen and based on original pieces of Marvel artwork. Measuring 3 ½"-4", each figurine is individually numbered, comes stamped with the Marvel official logo, and comes packaged in its own box. The magazine accompanying each figurine will provide a detailed history and background on the featured character, including exclusive images and interviews.
Ghost Rider: Road to Damnation TP
$14.99
Stunning art and a story that only Garth Ennis could tell! He's paying the price for his deal with the Devil - is the Ghost Rider condemned to ride the highways of Hell for all eternity? His saving grace could be in the form of an unlikely ally - an industrious angel with a deal that would free Ghost Rider once and for all!
Wow, blurb. That's all the text you can muster? Huh, well, I guess I need to pick up the slack. If only I had read this, but I doubt Thomas would let me get away with reading it while working even if I had a good excuse. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.
Stardust by Neil Gaiman and Charles Vess
$19.99
Don't miss this new softcover edition of the classic tale written by New York Times best-selling author Neil Gaiman (THE SANDMAN) and illustrated by Charles Vess, released to coincide with the major motion picture starring Robert DeNiro and Michelle Pfeifer! In a Victorian-era tale of magic and romance, young Tristran Thorn falls in love with the town beauty and must go on an incredible coming-of-age journey in order to capture her heart. Living in the small countryside town of Wall, one night Tristran vows to his beloved to retrieve a fallen star that they witnessed crashing down from the heavens. Now to gain his love's hand, he must leave behind his home and embark on a journey that will define the meaning of true love. Told through breathtaking painted illustrations, this fairytale for adults is a true masterpiece in storytelling.
Empire Detachment
$45.00
Okay, the Warhammer people already know whether or not it's worthwhile to buy this, so I'm going to talk to another segment of our customer base: the D&D gamer. It might seem weird that I would be talking to D&D gamers about what is clearly a Warhammer Fantasty Battles product, but there's actually a good reason for a D&D player to pick this up: these miniatures are really customizable and the bases are perfectly sized for the standard D&D square grid maps. You can truly put together a character that isn't just the same assembly-line piece that everyone else has. Also, a GM could field a whole bunch of unique human NPCs with the miniatures in these sets. You can put together twenty guys with swords, halberds, or spears, and another ten guys with guns or crossbows. This product is available for a limited time only, so pick it up soon!
Buddy Christ!
$12.95
Remember Dogma? It was a pretty cool movie about how Kevin Smith was catholic, or something. Also, about the commercialization of religion. Well, both of those topics are potentially divisive, so here's a figure of a smiling happy Jesus. So, at what point does it become completely absurd that the thing he was making fun of being sold is now actual merchandise being sold by the guy making fun of said commercialization? Does any of this make one damn bit of sense? I just got up and did something about halfway through one of those sentences, and I seriously cannot bring myself to care enough to reread this rambling mess.

That's right, it's your chance to get your foot in the door for employment at Fanboy Comics! We're looking for someone who can spend a few days each month going around town and posting our Flyers on any surface upon which a flyer can be placed! Obviously, you need to have a car, and you must be 18 because this task is far too important to entrust to a mere 17-year-old. Call us at (910) 452-7828 or email fanboycomics@bellsouth.net for more information.
Also, if you want to write something for our newsletter, we have pretty much no standards! Don't curse or anything, please, but we would love to see some input or ideas from our readers, and I am totally serious when I talk about how incredibly low our standards are. For God's sake, I'm the editor and I only have a GED. Send any newsletter related stuff to editor@fanboycomics.biz, and we'll see what happens!
What sort of awesome stuff does Fanboy Comics have on the Electronic Bay or "E-Bay," as the youth call it? Well, here's a sampling of the sort of stuff you might see on our store. Don't forget, if you buy any of this stuff, you can pick it up at the store and not pay shipping!

unfolded and is uniquely designed to be offset. The colors are crisp
and clean, keeping this handbill in excellent condition. There is very
slight creasing, much less than other handbills of this era. Don't
miss out on this wonderful bit of movie history.

As usual, a great many comic books have been pushed back to a later date. This news is so shocking that we are now developing a weekly section where we announce comic delays, so you can better know when your favorite books are coming out. Or when the next delay announcement will be, whatever. We'll also include other schedule announcements, like different products coming back in stock, second printings, and the like. But this is the comic industry, and we all know which type of announcment we will see the most.
